Satu lagi tentang monitor. Kali ini saya akan coba memberikan pengalaman saya waktu service monitor LG 505G mati. Monitor ini mengalami kerusakan mati dengan lampu power berkedip cepat. Dan terdengar bunyi cik, cik, cik, ……..dst. Mau tahu cara service monitor LG 505G ini……?Kerusakan ini tidak mutlak terjadi pada monitor LG, tapi mungkin juga terjadi di monitor lainnya. Kerusakan monitor dengan ciri lampu power berkedip cepat dan terdengar bunyi cik, cik, cik, ……dst itu ada beberapa permasalahan yang mungkin terjadi, yaitu 1. Monitor mengalami kerusakan di Transistor Horisontal yang short. Short bisa disebabkan karena panas berlebihan atau flyback yang rusak atau mau rusak. 2. Monitor mengalami kerusakan di FET B+ yang short. FET ini berfungsi untuk menaikkan tegangan dari 50 vdc ke 80-120 vdc. FET rusak karena elco regulator tegangan kering atau overload tegangan. 3. Monitor mengalami kerusakan di bagian lain yang mengalami short / konslet, antara lain di bagian blok vertikal, blok video dan blok lainnya. Biasanya yang sering rusak adalah bagian diodanya yang short. 4. Monitor mengalami kerusakan di elco regulator untuk tegangan kerja IC program yaitu tegangan 5 vdc. Jika elco regulator ataupun IC regulator tegangan 5 vdc ini rusak, maka tegangan yang seharusnya 5 vdc menjadi berkurang atau bahkan kadang bertambah. Inilah yang menyebabkan monitor terkunci dan tidak bisa di nyalakan. Untuk monitor LG 505G Mati dengan Lampu Power Kedip-Kedip Cepat ini ternyata mengalami kerusakan di elco regulator dengan ukuran 1000uF/10v. Elconya melembung yang menandakan elco mengalami panas yang berlebihan atau kelebihan tegangan elco ini saya ganti dengan elco ukuran 1000uF/16v agar lebih aman. Kemudian monitor saya coba nyalakan dan ternyata monitor LG 505G ini kembali nyala dengan normal. Saya cek tegangan 5 volt nya ternyata keluar 5 volt juga.
